How About a Quicky?

A "quicky" in this instance is homemade fast food. Shame on you for what you were thinking!

New Orleans BBQ Shrimp
1 lb. fresh shrimp - shelled or not; your choice
1 stick of butter
2 T Old Bay Seasoning mix

Melt the butter, stir in the Old Bay and when it's bubbling, put in the shrimp and stir again. I try to serve this over toast - baguette rounds make a nice presentation. This way you get plenty of the sauce and the butter just dribbles down your chin.

Garlic Spaghetti
Sufficient olive oil for the amount of pasta you'll be serving
4 or 5 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 or 2 T red chili flakes
Saute together, pour over hot pasta, stir well and garnish with Parmesan

Garlic Spaghetti with Alfredo Sauce and Meatballs
Add Alfredo sauce from a jar to your leftover garlic spaghetti and microwave.

Meatballs
1/2 lb. hamburger
1 beaten egg
2 or 3 T garlic powder
2 or 3 T white pepper

Mix, shape into balls and put the balls on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 until sizzling. Remember to turn them over once during the cooking. Serve attractively piled on the pasta.

The reason I oven-bake meatballs is becuse they hold their round shape and the fat boils out of them.
